I can’t wait to listen to the second book, Waking Gods and the final book when it’s released in May.Sleeping Giants Book one of the Themis Files The epilogue which sees the seemingly impossible return of a pivotal character left me speechless. There a lot of light and dark moments and more questions are created than answered. I’m a big fan of Greek Mythology so I was delighted when this came up. The book offers the concept that the robot is one of the Titan’s from Greek mythology, giant children of Chronos and Ghia. This structure creates a lot of mystery and suspense and works really well. The audiobook is structured as a series of recorded interviews between various people and a sinister figure who seems to know a lot more than he lets on and has a finger in many pies. Sleeping Giants exceeded my high expectations. I loved the concept behind the book – pieces of a giant metal robot are found buried all over the earth.

I’ve wanted to listen to the audiobook since I stumbled across it by chance browsing Audible website.
